On July 28, the World Games for Policemen and Firefighters took place in Rotterdam (the Kingdom of the Netherlands), in which about 10,000 police and firemen from 70 countries participated, competing in more than 60 kinds of sports.

On February 18, Senior Inspector of the Investigation Support Unit of the Interpol and Europol Investigation Support Division of the NPU International Police Cooperation Department, Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Tarabanovsky and Inspector of the International Police Cooperation Sector of the Directorate General of the National Police in the Zakarpattia Region Police Major Serhiy Kharlamov, were sent to participate in the UN international operation to maintain peace and security in the Republic of South Sudan.

On February 11, a solemn ceremony on completion of the training course for inspectors of the State Transport Security Service took place on the basis of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

On February 9, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko and the Academy's leadership have met with international partners at the NAIA suburban location (Educational and Research Institute № 1), where guests were acquaint with features of the Police Department training ground. The unique facility was created and equipped according to the Custody Records system with the support of the EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine.

On January 17, a specialized training course for inspectors of the State Transport Safety Service of Ukraine, who arrived from all regions of the country, began at the suburban location of the National Academy of Internal Affairs (Vita-Poshtova village) as part of the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine.

On January 17, applicants of the National Academy of Internal Affairs graduated from internships with the National Police and the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (455 people in total).

Specialists of relevant departments, research laboratories and research and teaching staff of the National Academy of Internal Affairs have taken part in an interagency seminar on topical issues of quality assurance in higher education institutions with specific learning conditions. The National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine provided the platform for the meeting.
