Graduate Studies (Master’s Program) and Doctoral Studies provide conditions for continuous education, ensure the organizational, educational, and scientific support for the training of candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the educational and scientific level of higher education, as well as the organizational and scientific support for the training of candidates for the degree of Doctor of Science.

The training of candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy is carried out under the educational and scientific programs “Law” (D8), “Psychology” (C4), and “Law Enforcement” (K9).

The training of candidates is conducted in academic fields aimed at stabilizing internal security in the country, which is taking shape amid full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine, as well as on expanding the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ participation in shaping the external security environment, which is characterized by deeper integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures and strengthened cooperation with them.

Postgraduate (ad’juncture) and doctoral studies are conducted both under state commission and on a contractual basis.

The training of candidates for the educational and scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy and the scientific degree of Doctor of Science concludes with a public defense of the dissertation and the awarding of the educational and scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy or the scientific degree of Doctor of Science.
