The National Academy of Internal Affairs (NAIA) has completed a short-term professional development program for the heads of district departments and divisions of the National Police of Ukraine and their deputies in various areas of activity.

The training took place from September 7 to 10 and brought together 25 police officers from various regions of Ukraine. Over the course of four days, the participants honed the professional skills necessary for organizing the work of local police units and carrying out management tasks.

Representatives from relevant departments of the National Police of Ukraine joined the academy’s faculty and staff in conducting the classes.

On September 10, the trainees graduated. Police Colonel Serhiy Chernyavsky, vice rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, presented them with certificates of professional development.

“For the head of a police unit, it is important not only to have professional experience but also to continuously improve management skills, exchange best practices, and find effective solutions to the challenges faced by the National Police. I am convinced that the knowledge and professional contacts you gained during your training at the academy will be useful in your daily work,” said Serhiy Chernyavsky.

Upon completing the training, the participants received certificates and are returning to their units to apply the knowledge and practical experience they have gained in their professional work.
