The main tasks of the Unit:

- ensuring compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine, resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, decisions of the Academic Council and the Rectorate.

- implementation of the state personnel policy and requirements of normative-legal acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on work with personnel;

- strengthening the capacities of employees of higher education institutions;

- improving the quality of selection of candidates for training at the NAIA (full-time education by state order);

- improving the structure and staff of the NAIA, the implementation of organizational and staffing measures within powers of the Unit;

- implementation, together with structural subdivisions of NAIA, of measures aimed at raising the level of qualification, professional skills of scientific and pedagogical staff, by sending them to subdivisions of the National Police of Ukraine in order to update practical experience and its implementation in the educational process.
