Working visit of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine
05-08-2021On August 4, the National Academy of Internal Affairs hosted a working meeting with the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine consisting of the Regional Delegate for Work with the Police and Security Agencies Halit Bulanikli and Project Manager Dmytro Dvornik.
From the Academy the event was represented by: Rector, Police General of the First Rank Volodymyr Cherniei, First Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Stanislav Husariev, Vice-Rector, Police Colonel Serhii Cherniavskyi, Professor of the Department of Constitutional Law and Human Rights, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Konstantin Tarasenko, Chief of the International Cooperation Department, Police Captain, Marianna Derevianko and Vitaliy Shokur, Translator of said Department.
The cooperation between the Academy and the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine has been going on for years. Training events on international humanitarian law with the participation of ICRC representatives are held for variable and permanent staff. In order to deepen further cooperation, the parties discussed the most promising areas.
After the working meeting, the guests visited the Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and a visit to the Educational and Scientific Institute №1, where they got acquainted with the modern material and technical basis of the Institute.
