Visit of the Spanish National Police Liaison Officer to the National Academy of Internal Affairs
07-05-2025On May 7, a meeting was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Police Activities, organized thanks to the Office of the Spanish Attaché for Internal Affairs in Ukraine and the Department of International Cooperation of the National Police, represented by its liaison officer.
They discussed international cooperation in the field of training, which has already been carried out for the National Police of Ukraine by the Training Department of the Spanish National Police, as well as future and new areas of cooperation.
Another purpose of the visit was to present the current structure, material and technical base of the Academy, as well as to show the peculiarities of the educational process. In particular, the structure of educational programs, practical training of cadets, involvement of police officers in the educational process, as well as international cooperation, exchanges and other educational initiatives were presented.
The representative of the Spanish National Police, Mr. Alonso, accompanied by the Vice-Rector of the Academy, Stanislav Mozol, visited classrooms and training grounds that ensure high quality training of future police officers.
This visit is an important step in strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Spain in the field of police training, exchange of experience and application of the best European practices in law enforcement training.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of openness and interest of the parties in further cooperation in the future.
