Ukrainian Sambo Athletes Won 19 Medals at European Championship
22-05-2015In Zagreb (Croatia) European Sambo Championship came to an end where the national team of Ukraine won 19 medals.
Our sportsmen have 4 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals.
Among participants of the Championship was a representative of the National Academy of Internal Affairs – an instructor of the Department of Weapon and Special Physical Training of ERIFST Serhii Chornyi who scored big successes and in a tense struggle won a silver medal for combat sambo.
It should be noted that in the team event the national team of Ukraine occupies the third place after Russia and Belarus.
The participation in these competitions became one of the stages of preparation for the Championship of the MIA of Ukraine among branch higher educational establishments, other departmental, interdepartmental and national competitions, and also contributed to the image of internal affairs bodies of Ukraine at the international scene.
