02-09-2025The National Academy of Internal Affairs held a landmark meeting with the President of the International Police Association, Martin Hoffman, and representatives of the Ukrainian section of this organization. The meeting was also attended by Uno Laasa, a representative of the Estonian branch of the International Police Association.
The event become another step towards deepening international partnership and strengthening professional ties between police officers from different countries.
Vice-Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Serhii Cherniavskyi, acquainted the guests with the system of training future law enforcement officers, focusing on modern approaches to training that meet the realities of service in wartime. They discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of educational and scientific projects, exchange of experience and practices of police activities.
The visitors were introduced to the training base of the Academy. They visited practical training grounds where cadets train their emergency response skills, apprehend offenders, conduct investigative actions, and work out other elements of professional training. The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere of mutual respect; for the Academy, this is confirmation of the high level of trust from international partners and an opportunity to expand the horizons of international cooperation in the field of law enforcement education.
