Summer School „Security in Danger“
30-06-2017This event took place at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the support of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Office in Ukraine on June 19-21.
The school started as a platform for various discussions of Ukraine’s top issue – consolidation of international support on countering Russian aggression. Scholars and experts, politicians, civil activists and young people were invited to participate. NAIA was represented by 3-year cadet Artem Burtak.
The event was aimed to familiarize the participants with all available methods of countering and neutralizing key threats arising in Ukraine.
Presentations and lectures of speakers were focused on protection of Ukraine’s national interests including the “Crimean dilemma”, acute challenges for the EU and Korean-American tension aggravation.
The participants appreciated the deep and detailed lectures and discussions in the plenary and in smaller groups, whereas the speakers were impressed by the well founded questions and analytical skills of the participants.
