During the meeting, Police General of the Third Rank Andrii Niebytov emphasized:
«The educational process in times of war is a daily challenge for both teachers and cadets. We provide training not only for qualified specialists, but also for leaders who are able to make decisions in the most difficult conditions. Today, each cadet is not only a future law enforcement officer, but also a part of the security forces that hold the country together».
An American journalist talked to the cadets. Her interest and support are a source of inspiration and motivation for young people.
The Rector of the Academy, Police General of the Third Rank Ruslan Serbyn, has also noted:
«We build the educational process so that our cadets receive not only knowledge, but also feel supported and protected in every sense. Mental health, psychological resilience, and the ability to work in a team are just as important as professional skills. It is extremely valuable for us that international partners such as Ms. Perdue focus on these aspects and are ready to share their experience».
In addition, the writer visited the training grounds of the Ukrainian State Police and met with veterans – employees of the Academy, who, after serving at the front, continue to pass on their invaluable experience to the new generation of police officers.
