National Academy of Internal Affairs was visited by German delegation
25-04-2015On Saturday Academy was visited by representatives of the Mission Coordinating Centre in Potsdam (Germany) - its chief Walther Wörrlein and officer of Ukrainian section Andrea Ebert and EU Advisory Mission in Ukraine presented by its chief Udo Möller, officer of the cooperation unit Joachim Peters and expert on regional cooperation Daniel Farrell. Guests were welcomed by the First Deputy Rector Stanislav Gusarev, chief of the Special Peacekeeping Training Centre Andrii Shevarikhin and chief of International Department Mykhailo Akimov.
During the meeting the participants discussed practical aspects of the patrol police training and perspectives of law enforcement education in the scope of current reforming process. Special attention was paid to the re-establishment of professional image of law enforcement officer through effective cooperation with community and the resource base required. Also our guests were informed about the structure of the Academy and the training programs for cadets and students and provided the general scope of community policing in Germany.
In the end of the visit the participants were accompanied to the MIA Museum and took a few photos.
