At the present stage the Department provides education of following subjects: Actual problems of Copyright, Civil law, Family law, Civil procedure, Land law, Ecological law, Incorporeal right, Labor law, Housing law, Agrarian law, International private law, Law of succession, Economic process, Notarial system of Ukraine, Insurance law, Transport law, Execution in Civil procedure and others.

The main tasks of the department are:

- realization of educational-professional, educational-scientific programs, training plans of training, educational-thematic plans of primary professional training of police officers, retraining and professional development of specialists;

- development of a unified concept of the implementation of the content of education in the disciplines taught by the department, with the aim of combining theoretical training with the practical orientation of training specialists;

- organization and implementation at the high scientific and methodological levels of the educational process by forming the scientific content and practical direction of each discipline.
